Jayant Lal Ganwani is Vice-Chairman and CEO of the Lals Group. Mr. Ganwani graduated from the Stern School of Business at New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and International Business.

Established in 1979, the Lals Group is a household name in the Retail segment throughout the Gulf Co-operation Council member states with Dubai, UAE as its headquarters. The Group has extensive business interests in Retail, Property Development, Trading, Manufacturing, Fitness, Poultry, Elementary Education, Hospitality and Mall Management sectors in UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, KSA & Iraq.

A few businesses the Group operates are Homes r Us, Arabian Center, Daiso, Lamcy Plaza, US Polo, Carters, G-2000, City Center Hypermarkets in Kuwait and Iraq and several of the above mentioned franchise retail businesses in Oman, Qatar and Bahrain. The staff strength of the group currently stands at over 2,750.

Mr. Ganwani has been involved with the family business since 1986 and has served in several roles throughout the organization over the last three decades. He holds a BSc in Management and International business from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
