Osama Ibrahim Seddiqi is the Vice-chairman of Seddiqi Holding and Steering Committee Member of RBG. He works closely with the Executive Committee and Board of Directors to outline the company’s strategic direction and tactical initiatives and has been instrumental in defining the structure of Seddiqi Holding.

Osama’s role spans across the Seddiqi portfolio, covering the retail, education, legal, real estate, and investment business units of the conglomerate. He joined the business in 2005 and was the first member of the Seddiqi family to join the Finance department. He has since evolved the department in line with the organisation’s growth objectives and under his direction, strict financial policies, and procedures have been actioned. Simultaneously, he spearheaded the development of the Internal Audit and Legal department, implementing family protocols and best practices to ensure efficiency, risk control and a cohesive corporate governance practice across the organisation.

Under Osama’s guidance, the business witnessed the growth of Seddiqi Properties, the property management arm of Seddiqi Sons & Investments (SSI), a subsidiary under Seddiqi Holding. Osama steers the Seddiqi Properties team to identify new projects and quality designers, through to the management of the portfolio. His mantra reflects that of the late founder, where ‘all tenants should be treated as guests’, supporting the inherent essence of luxury that Seddiqi Holding offers across its endeavours.

He is firmly dedicated to the company’s overall vision of operational excellence and customer-centricity, and this is reflected in his meticulous work and business acumen. Osama’s tenure in the industry has further cultivated a passion for the retail sector. He leads negotiations with mall operators across the UAE to ensure Seddiqi Holding’s position as anchor tenants, guaranteeing prime and strategic locations for all retail projects under the company portfolio. As the retail sector evolves, Osama works closely with the internal teams to optimise the business’ retail footprint and operations.

Osama holds a bachelors’ degree in Business Administration from the National American University – Denver. He is a member of the Seddiqi Holding Executive Committee and Board of Directors and sits on the board of several private companies.
